Random: TO + Yukiko + Brother Lover

Who cares about Halloween? It’s all about the candy going on clearance in following days! I’ve been wanting to make this post, so here’s some more (eye) candy as an excuse!

OK, back when Bisu (author of Tensei Oujo) first announced that TO was getting a Light Novel adaption by Arian Rose (Frontier Works), she also announced that the artist for her series would be Yukiko. Yukiko also goes by the name of Yukinokoe, and is a published mangaka in her own right. I kind of linked to her Pixiv, but didn’t really put up any of the artwork, so I figured I might as well do so now.

Anyway, after looking at Yukiko’s illustrations, I was convinced (with absolutely no backing) that the publisher contracted her just because of the work she did for the (terribly named) drama CD series, Brother Lover (which happens to be an Animate chain product, a company related to Frontier Works).

From left to right, their names are Louis (older brother), Noah (younger brother), and Phil (older brother). She does portraits sooo much better than profiles (those prominent noses, man). This guy is Louis Christof, when he grows up. It didn’t occur to me immediately at first because the colors of his hair and eyes were off, but when the character designs were revealed for the TO cast, that part in the hair? The way he’s tearing off his gloves with his mouth? Definitely Christof’s style! The Ruthless First Prince of Nebel.

This one is the little brother, Noah Johan, when he grows up. I immediately connected Noah with Johan because of the blond hair and blue eyes, whereas I didn’t with Louis and Christof. He’s got that fragile look, but it’s a false front. He’s hiding his yandere inside! Be careful, Rose!

??? His name is Phil. Rose only has two brothers anyway, and the prominent nose works against him, so he can’t take a spot as her older brother. He does have red eyes though. Theo? Is that you? But you look less cheerful than I expected you to. Edit: Can also possibly be Klaus perhaps. But he lacks that fresh boy look.

Not too fond of Chris as a kid, but he grows up hot! I want to see Rose all grown up, too. :'<
